Janine is a Life Coach who works with parents help them navigate the world with kids in tow – a world which presents its own unique challenges. There’s no two ways about it, being a parent changes us.
With a background of over 20 years in Media Strategy, Janine transitioned into Coaching after having 2 children and realising that her values had evolved. She needed to make changes in order to keep growing and to be happy and fulfilled, in all areas of her life. Cue going back to University to study for a Post Grad Certificate in Coaching, and not looking back since!
Janine works with parents to help them take control, to work out what’s next, where they are going, and how to grow – refocussing on themselves. She often works with parents on:
• An erosion of confidence and sense of self.
• How to return to work after a break.
• The juggle – how to find a way of working that works for them and their families
• Doing work that makes them feel valued.
• Dealing with stress and uncertainty
Janine practices, 'Psychodynamic' Coaching , which allows her to work alongside clients to get to the bottom of what's really going on. She strongly believes that Coaching is about understanding the whole person and the whole context. She takes time to work through not only intentions, but anxieties and blockages.
Janine is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, as well being a certified Mental Toughness practitioner. She works on a 1:1 basis with clients, and also runs Group Coaching and Workshop sessions.
She lives in South East London but is originally from Yorkshire so expect straight talking, a friendly welcome and flat vowels.
